Adam
Bisits
is a solicitor, formerly a partner of and consultant to
Blake Dawson Waldron and currently Chairman of the Advocacy
Panel of the National Electricity Code Administrator (a
board position). Adam has extensive commercial and regulatory
experience, in particular in relation to the rail and power
industry since 1992. He was first admitted to practice in
1975 in New South Wales and later in other States including
Victoria where he is presently based.
Adam
was the managing partner of the Canberra office of Blake
Dawson Waldron in 1990-1992. Clients for which he has acted
include Energy Australia, Australian government Department
of Finance and Administration, Western Australia Government
Treasury, Advance Energy (now Country Energy), Crown Limited,
Specialised Container Transport, Freight Australia, the
Hungarian government and BHP Billiton. He has presented
papers to national and international industry conferences
on national electricity regulation, major railway contracts
and resource assessment and security legislation. He has
also acted in Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Bulgaria.

holds degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Laws, and
Master of Laws from the University of Sydney.
